I haven't forgotten this... again

Things have been moving. We have an apartment. It's not ready to move in, and when we do, it needs deep cleaned in lieu of the deposit. The former tenant was arrested. His family moved some of his belongings. 

Hopefully we'll be in sometime this week or next. 

We did end up being scammed on one apartment. It was a gorgeous house that I found on craigslist. But the first thing should have been the price. They only wanted $1,250 a month for a three bedroom, three bathroom. I realized after we paid the fee for the application. It's embarrassing, but we're not the only ones to fall for it sadly.

This apartment is three bedrooms, one bathroom, dining room, living room, and kitchen. It also has a two-room office for myself to start my resin crafts. It has a small front yard and a balcony patio. Jim fought tooth and nail against this  common sense won out.

Jim and I are currently staying in a hotel with the cats and the ferrets. Everyone is doing well. It's hard to believe that a little over a week ago, we were living in a tent. I'm not ashamed, we overcame it.
